I am a technical consultant and trainer with PriceWaterhouseCoopers / Switzerland. Currently, I work on the architecture of a retail platform based upon Java 2 Enterprise Edition for a Swiss bank. Furthermore, I teach OOA/OOD, patterns and frameworks and give guest lectures and talks at universities and conferences. I am interested in patterns and frameworks and their application in object and component technologies. Moreover, I am excited about XML and its combination with the above mentioned technologies. Besides that, I am interested in organisational aspects of software engineering. In my freetime I enjoy snow boarding, street hockey, biking and literature. I can be reached as "mail" at ovogel.de .
